Decatur Architecture Tour is Back!
DeKalb History Center’s brand-new walking tour is focused on the history and homes of Sycamore Street. This significant Decatur street features many beautiful and unique houses that showcase a variety of architectural styles from the 19th and 20th centuries. Learn about the history of the homes and some of the residents on this tour.
Tour lasts 90 minutes, distance 1 mile.
Meeting Location and Parking:
Sycamore Park, Street Parking
700 block of Sycamore St, Decatur, GA 30030
The details
- The tour is outdoors with a total walking distance of about one mile, and lasts about an hour and a half.
- Tours will happen with mild rain, although in heavy or severe weather the tour may be rescheduled – you will be notified if that is the case.
- Tickets are required; no walkups allowed.
