DeKalb Traveler: St Mark United Methodist Church, Atlanta

Join Members of the DeKalb History Center as we tour St. Mark United Methodist Church on Peachtree Street.
St. Mark is a historic church built in 1902 and designed by Architect Willis F. Denny (1874-1905). The interior features the original furnishings, also designed by Denny, and twelve large pictorial stained-glass windows by Franz Meyer Studio (Munich, Germany), installed between 1909 and 1959.
The tour will also include the Francis Winship Walters Chapel, built in 1947 by Architect Francis Palmer Smith and Ivey & Crook.
St. Mark just completed a major restoration of their sanctuary and buildings, so join us as we celebrate their restoration!
Free parking is available in the parking deck directly behind the church, entrance on 5th Street.
