Walking Tour with Gene Kansas | Commercial Real Estate
Join for this special DHC Partnered Tour with Helen McGaughy of The Blair exploring Downtown Decatur.
This architecture walking tour kicks off at Decatur’s Blair Building, a bright pink 1939 Streamline Moderne gem, before winding through downtown for a curated look at Decatur’s architectural evolution. Stops include the Old Courthouse, New Courthouse, Decatur High School, the Marble House, Agnes Scott College’s Main Hall, the historic Decatur Train Depot (Kimball House), and the Decatur Fire Station—with interior tours of select buildings. Along the way, we’ll enjoy stories, surprises, and a coffee from OPO Coffee (on us!). Wear comfy shoes and come ready for 90 minutes of Decatur history. Co-hosted with the DeKalb History Center.
