Bring an item or photo(s) and your stories to share
In preparation for our upcoming exhibit, Together, we invite you to show off your photos, memories, objects and the stories that make them special. Those who want to share will have about 5 minutes to tell all about their object or photo and what makes it special (it does not have to be DeKalb County related). Sharing is not mandatory, but it is encouraged!
Our new exhibit, Together, will highlight DeKalb County citizens through photographs, oral histories, an all-ages interactive activity, and artifacts from our collection.
We are asking current, and former residents of DeKalb County to share their fondest memories with us via photographs or objects. The memories you share can be from any location and may be included in Together, set to open in September 2026.

Parking Information:
Plenty of parking is available in Downtown Decatur. Options include, street parking and parking garages. The closest is One West Court Square, located next door. Garage has two entrances, Swanton Way and West Ponce De Leon.
DHC Members receive $5 Parking Voucher, good for all day at One West Court Square.
Accessible Parking:
We don’t have any specified accessible spots, but a few designated spots are available close by on East Court Square.
