Come out and listen as Chip Davidson, III, discusses the history of his family’s company and how the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve became what it is today.

Once considered the largest producer of granite in the world, Davidson Granite Enterprises ran operations in the Lithonia quarries for over 70 years.

Sometime in the 1970s, the Davidson Family decided to donate 500+ acres of Arabia Mountain and some of its surrounding land to DeKalb County to be turned into a nature preserve. Now named the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, many flock to the area to enjoy hiking, biking, and the beauty of Arabia Mountain.

FREE and open to the public! Bring your lunch to enjoy during the talk.
