Book Talk: Hidden History of Old Atlanta

 In
March 3, 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Tune in for an enlightening book talk by author Mark Pifer as he discusses his new book, Hidden History of Old Atlanta.

It may be hard to imagine Atlanta as anything but the sprawling metropolis seen today, but the area we now call the City in the Forest has a very long history, stretching back thousands of years. Most people hear the term “old Atlanta” and think of the city that got burned near the end of the Civil War, but what came before that?

Hidden History of Old Atlanta brings to light details that have long been forgotten including centuries of Native American settlements as well as the stories and struggles of African Americans and new immigrants.
