Archives Workshop: Identifying & Preserving Images Workshop

In this workshop, become a detective to identify, investigate, and GeoTag (identifying a location) your old photographs. Like the game Carmen Sandiego, every photo has clues in it. You will learn tips, tricks, and technology that can help you. Attendees will also learn how to preserve, store, and organize family photos and documents. Participants will be able to take home archival-approved folders to start the process of archiving their own collection.

For those that attended January’s Workshop on Identifying Images, this event will be identical but with the added preservation element. 

Attendees will need a laptop, tablet, or device for research.
